LIONHEART MIKE THOMAS
Height: 6 Foot 1
Weight: 190 lbs.
From: Swansea, South Wales
Age: 21
Debut: 1998 vs. Justin Richards (Winter Gardens, Margate, Kent, For Hammerlock Wrestling)
Lionheart Mike Thomas, a native of Swansea, South Wales, has impressed everyone in the Combat Sports Federation with his superior technical wrestling skills, along with his willingness to take massive risks in flying through the air onto his opponents. Experts say that Mr.Friday Night's greatest asset is the diversity of his style – he can wrestle on the mat with the best of them, and also dive through the air in the daredevil manner now synonymous with Lionheart Mike Thomas. Thomas is also highly adept at brawling, as his series of CSF matches with long-time rival The Highlander have demonstrated. His great balance and flexibility, developed during his extensive training in the martial arts, are also great assets to him.
The Lionheart has also had impressive matches with the likes of The Guv'nor Carl Conroy, with whom he has an ongoing rivalry, stretching back to their
ground-breaking series of matches in LMT's native Wales last summer. LMT is eager to settle the score with the rulebreaking Guv'nor, as their match back in October during Total Elimination II ended in controversy when Conroy's manager Superfly Steve Sharpe interfered on his charge's behalf, hitting LMT with his own Welsh Championship belt, allowing Conroy to pick up the tainted and highly illegal win. Their most recent outing also ended without a decisive winner, as The Guv'nor's mystery tag team partner The Highlander scored the winning pinfall over The Lionheart in the tag team war also involving Stu Odyssey at CSF Annihilation II. Rumour has it that plans are in the CSF pipeline for Lionheart and Conroy to settle their feud in a decisive way, once and for all, in a best two out of three falls stipulation match. We here at CSF are predicting another absolutely belting match between two of the UK's very best wrestlers, should this final confrontation take place.
Look for big things from Lionheart Mike Thomas in the future (as well as the present!), as experts of the mat game have predicted that he will go all the way to the top. Currently negotiating with international promoters in both Europe and North America, the future has never looked brighter for the man renowned everywhere as one of the UK's brightest stars and best wrestlers. |

MR.VAIN PETER COLLINS
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 235 lbs.
From: Bristol
Mr.Vain Peter Collins is a wily veteran who has seen and done it all during his many years in the wrestling business. A highly talented master of the ring who certainly knows how to antagonise the fans as well as his opponents. Affectionately known to Melksham fans as "Grandad" or "Wolf" (from TV's Gladiators), the former CSF Heavyweight Champion will, we're sure, have plenty of tricks up his sleeve in his bid to regain that title from the man who took it away from him at CSF Annihilation II on April 27th in Melksham: The Eliminator.
Many are predicting that Collins will take the championship back at the first time of asking. However, current champ The Eliminator would certainly not second that view, as he impressed many experts with his title winning performance against Mr.Vain at Annihilation II. Still, one cannot help but think that the future is as bright as the infamous past of this highly-skilled veteran from Bristol. Especially when you consider that his title loss at Annihilation II was his first defeat under the CSF banner, in almost two years of competition! |

STU ODYSSEY
Height: 6 Foot 3
Weight: 250 lbs.
From: Swindon
Stu Odyssey is another highly talented wrestler on the roster of the Combat Sports Federation, who can also mix it up with the best of them, as his series of battles with long standing rivals Gideon and Genocide will attest.
Renowned for his domination inside the squared circle of smaller athletes, Odyssey is a very powerful wrestler, with surprising agility for a man of his size. You will often find him using gorilla press slams, high impact lariat clotheslines and other such power moves to dominate opponents during his matches. It is also commonplace, however, to find him leaping about the ring like a cruiserweight, and this tends to throw, even more experienced, opponents off guard. Many attribute Odyssey's success in the ring to this versatility, but he also owes a lot to his towering and commanding presence, which is said to intimidate opponents before they even step in there with him.
Stu is another wrestler with a good amount of experience for the relatively short amount of time he has been wrestling, often having stepped into the ring to meet challenges from more experienced fighters, such as former CSF Champion Mr.Vain Peter Collins. Impressive showings against such veterans have stood Odyssey in good stead and have prepared him well for his more recent matches with the likes of The Eliminator, Jonny Storm and Jody Fleisch.
At CSF Annihilation II, Odyssey, along with Lionheart Mike Thomas, met the challenge of former tag team partner The Guv'nor Carl Conroy and his mystery tag team partner The Highlander. Although emerging on the losing side this time out, this match saw another fantastic performance from Stu Odyssey. Before the match, Odyssey had this to say about the mouthy Guv'nor and his stable:
"It doesn't matter who that fat bastard's partner is on the 27th in Melksham! Me and my tag team partner Lionheart Mike Thomas will be more than happy to kick both of their arses all across Melksham, all night long! And as far as Superfly Steve Sharpe goes: if she sticks her nose into our business at all, then she'll get a beating too! I'm not normally in favour of hitting women, but I'll certainly make an exception this time!"
Well, to his credit, Superfly Steve Sharpe did not back down from this challenge and did indeed stick his nose into their business. For his troubles, he received a Michinoku Driver from Stu Odyssey and another absolute kicking from Lionheart Mike Thomas. This is turning into something of a regular occurrence for the mouthy and effeminate manager, who has sworn revenge on both Thomas and Odyssey, to which they have responded "ooh, get her!".
The match, as mentioned, featured another highly impressive showing from Odyssey, who is another tip from the experts to make it all the way to the top in the world of professional wrestling. |
